SPECIAL NOTES:
Marching Bands & Color Guards perform at half-time for home games and pre-game at away games.
Students should eat something substantial before coming back to school for a game. They will not get an opportunity to eat until the third quarter in the game so they need something to sustain them until around 8:30 at least.
It is our school’s unique tradition to provide food** for our band during the third quarter of home games. Food can be dropped off at the Band Room by 6pm on home game days or brought to the tables in front of the home stands by the end of the first quarter of the game. Parents take turns volunteering to arrange the food during the second game period and assist band members after half-time with serving the food. Band families are welcome to eat or take home any leftover food once the fourth quarter begins in the game.
Please bring finger-food that will not stain uniforms (no drippy sauces) in small, pre-cut portions.
If boxed lunches have been pre-ordered for away games, they will be transported to the games and handed out by band parent volunteers. Band members should bring food, drinks, and/or money for concession stands if they did not order away food boxes during Band Camp.
